Bioballs are handcrafted sports planters that I make and sell on Etsy, at local markets, and on social media to raise money and awareness for cancer patients. The Bioball officially launched on May 31st, 2021, and was inspired by my incredible mom, who passed away after battling cancer for 7.5 years.
All 22 years I got with my mom were precious, but the last 7.5 of them were a gift. A gift that was made possible by the medical, physical, and emotional care provided by organizations like
The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation,
Ovarian Cancer Canada,
Gilda’s Club Toronto, and many more.
It became my personal mission to give back to these organizations. Thus, 100% of The Bioball’s profit is donated to continue enabling cancer patients like my mom to live their fullest lives while fighting this disease. To date, we have donated over $10,000 to Canadian cancer organizations.
I’m thankful for every individual who has supported the mission in any way, from purchasing a bioball to telling a friend about it. Thank you for helping me keep my mom alive, and for helping me help others.
